Artemis are expanding to meet strong forward bookings across our estate of luxury wedding venues. We are now looking for a talented Junior Sous Chef to join the team at Mythe Barn.
This is an ideal role for a confident Chef de Partie or Junior Sous ready to take the next step in a structured, professional kitchen — with real career progression.
45-hour contract (planned rotas, no guesswork)

You’ll work closely with the Head Chef to deliver exceptional modern British menus for high-end weddings and events (100+ covers).
You’ll be responsible for:
Supporting day-to-day kitchen management
Maintaining high food and hygiene standards (HACCP compliant)
Assisting with ordering, stock control and rota planning
Ensuring allergen compliance
Delivering beautifully presented dishes under pressure
Helping develop and test new menu ideas
We use Checkit food management systems (full training provided).
Some lone working required.
3+ years’ experience in quality food-led kitchens
Experience with 100+ cover service
Passion for fresh ingredients and modern British cuisine
Calm, organised and professional under pressure
Team-focused with strong communication skills
Own transport (venue location)
Right to work full-time in the UK
Wedding or event catering experience is highly desirable.
