Artemis are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to work in a well established kitchen at our Rivervale Barn venue on the Hampshire / Berkshire border. You will need to be self-motivated, calm under pressure with a passion for cooking the finest food using fresh ingredients.

The must haves-
- 2 years’ experience in a similar position and used to providing for 100+ covers using fresh ingredients together with a strong background in food led establishments.
- A passion for cooking.
- A proven track record, with good references to support your CV.
- Kitchen management and Communication skills.
- Own transport is essential due to the location.
- Candidates must be eligible to work full-time in the UK
What will my responsibilities include?
- Ensuring high standards of food preparation and service are kept. Maintaining a clean environment.
- To follow our allergens policy and kitchen management package. (Full training given).
- Assisting the head chef with the management of the kitchen team.
- Daily ordering from suppliers.
- Day to day reporting to the Head chef and General Manager. Responding to emails.
- Management of Checkit (full training given).
